About the Service Animal Sign
Under the ADA, a service animal is a dog individually trained to do work or perform tasks for a person with a disability (28 CFR 36.104), and businesses that don't allow pets must still admit service animals (28 CFR 36.302(c)). Emotional support animals are not service animals under the ADA. Post SERVICE ANIMALS WELCOME at the door, or NO PETS — SERVICE ANIMALS ONLY, which shows a plain dog under a red circle and slash beside a service dog in its working harness, so the prohibition never covers a service animal. Change the wording and color to suit your entrance; these are visual signs, with no braille.
