About the Accessible Directional Sign
Directional and informational signs (ADA §216.3) use visual characters (§703.5) rather than raised ones: high-contrast, non-glare, sized for the viewing distance. List up to five destinations, each with an arrow — left-pointing arrows sit before the name, the rest after it — and add a header such as ACCESSIBLE ROUTE or the International Symbol of Accessibility to direct people to accessible entrances, restrooms and elevators.
